Relief Society Sunday Lessons
A great goal for 2010 is to read your Sunday lessons!
I posted the lesson schedule for the year on the right column.
If you need a printed schedule the RS has them to hand out.
This year we are studying the new Gospel Principles manual and it it wonderful.
I would encourage each of you to read the lessons even if you are not able to attend Relief Society on Sundays because of other callings etc. Discuss the lessons and what you have learned with your husband or other family members.
In case you are not familiar with the lesson schedule:
-1st Sundays of the month are Presidency Instruction-the Relief Society Presidency decides what the lesson is on.
-2nd and 3rd Sundays are from the Gospel Principles Book.
-4th Sundays are Teaching for Our Times (TFOT) and are General Conference talks selected by the our Branch President.
-5th Sundays are under the direction of the Brach President.

If you missed our HFPE Meeting Tuesday night or if you were there and would like to watch the video I showed again, here it is. I LOVE this video. It reminds us that we are all creative and have talents.
Over the last few weeks I had the RS sisters fill out a sheet containing the talents and gifts they think each sister has. I handed out everyone's list to them at the meeting. If you missed it please see Sara for your personal list. I thought it was so neat how unique and special each of us are.

Dawn Renee West
Our hearts and prayers are with the West family. There will be a short memorial service for Dawn this Saturday at 10:00am at the church followed by a private family graveside service. Please respect the family and keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
Jennifer Theetge is collecting photos and written memories of Dawn to compile into a remembrance book for the children. If anyone has any photos or other things to include please give them to Jennifer. If everyone could write down their memories of Dawn so the children can remember her life and what kind of person she was, I know they will treasure that.

Free Yoga Class
Hi. We had a fun yoga class last week at our enrichment activity. The instructor told us that they hold a free weekly yoga class open to anyone in the community every Saturday morning at 10-11:30am. It is in the red brick building next to Fifth Third bank on Main Street (across from Zeigler Pharmacy). I talked to Sarah who went last Saturday and she said it was a really good class. They also offer paid classes other times and days for $10 to $12.
